Rock Lake Poem for Marilyn

I can see more through your eyes
Speak clearly with your lips
Your heart moves my blood

If I was a farmer I’d plow my field
With the blade of you
Water the furrows of me from the spring of
Your joy and rain of your tears
I’d harvest with your scything laughter
And sell the crop for no more than your smile.

In the winter you are my warmth and the
Snowflake in my open hand
